Where will my interview take place?
Your interview will be in the retail centre that is hosting our Grotto. We will email you the exact location, including directions, in the week prior to your interview.

How long will my interview last?
Up to 10 mins. 

What will I be asked in my interview?
It is important to us that your interview is a pleasant experience. We are looking for friendly people who are polite with a big smile and enthusiastic about the role. Many of our staff say it is the most enjoyable interview that they've ever had. 

What shifts are available?
We need both full-time and part-time Grotto staff to work weekdays and weekends. We will record your availability to work at interview and look to build your shifts around this.

I’m uncertain which job role I would be most suited to...
So long as you have completed an interview booking, we can discuss all roles on the day.

What should I wear?
Smart casual. Super smart looks great too.

What should I bring with me?
Identification, please. Such as a passport.

I have friend who is also interested. Can I recommend them?

I’ve worked for Great Grottos last year, do I need to attend an interview?
No. But you can if you like.

When will I be told if my interview is successful?
Successful applicants typically hear back within 1 week. We hire 500+ staff so we must appologise if it takes us longer. We are unable to contact unsuccessful applicants.

What's it like working in the Grotto?
Rewarding. Fun. Sometimes hardwork. Sometimes easy. Busy on weekends. Quiet on weekdays. You will be welcoming children and giving out presents. We think it's the best job available.
