As Father Christmas you will be required to hold short interviews with children visiting your grotto, hand out our amazing presents and pose for photos. Our Santas also:

• Recieve an amazing fitted costume
• Assisted by a Visit Elf thoughout
• Full training is provided
• Our Santa dialogue guide is provided for Santas wanting help with what to say

Don't worry about your size, we have fake bellies and every size of costume. 

We build your shifts around your availability.  

We hire over 200 Santas every year. Many return each year and say it's the best job they've ever had.

Presentation on Becoming Santa for Great Grottos

Do you love entertaining and dressing up? Are you friendly, outgoing & a good communicator? Do you enjoy working with children? Would you like to help Father Christmas in his Grotto?

Santa's Elf duties include:

• Welcoming each family to the Grotto
• Introducing each child to Santa
• Taking photos
• Assisting with Santa's visits
• Checking tickets
• And, making sure Santas sacks are always full!

Experience in customer service or working with children is preferred, however not essential as full training is provided.

Great Grottos also provide you with an amazing sized costume & full training.

Would you like to lead one of our Christmas Grotto Events this year?

Are you friendly and hardworking? Do you enjoy meeting families? Do you like the idea of a Grotto Team? Are you happy to dress up as an Elf?

As a Grotto Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day running of the Grotto and visiting families. Your role will include:

• Serving customers
• Overseeing a team of staff
• Stock control
• Ensuring customer service levels are maintained
• A small amount of daily administration

Some supervisory experience is preferred, as well as good customer service skills. An ideal candidate needs to be positive, hardworking and reliable.

A DBS check, which we pay for, may be conducted.
